Meeting 2467 – 7th May, 2018

Board Meeting as well but 16 of our 22 attended.

Guests and hopeful member prospects Lyn and Jack Jefferies along with Fr Bill Pryce from Cootamundra.

Ross Atkinson got the scratchy and Mel Gallagher secured the Red and promptly straight swapped it with Ross, Lyn got the White.

Still no activity on out Clean Up of Old Coota Road but the Spring Garden Raffle prize is already starting to take shape and it isn’t even Winter yet!

We have one student from Temora High going to the IT Expo but still have two more spots.

Meeting 2466 – 30th April, 2018

Very interesting Speaker I’m told and will be invited back when the farmers aren’t out all hours on their tractors. 8 of our 22 attended

I was away in South Australia on holiday.

Helen Maxwell got the scratchy while Keith secured the Red and Brendon Fritsch the White.

A quick addition to the programs will be the annual Posie for Mum prior to Mothers Day. 12th May at the Hartwigs.

Meeting 2465 – 23rd April, 2018

Tonight is our Pride in Workmanship Awards night to recognise individuals for their dedication to their work. Three nominations were received but more on that later.

18 of our 22 members attended along with 17 guests.

Tony Sinclair got the scratchy again and Helen Oliver secured the Red door prize and Lala Brennen for the Mum or Dad.

Administration reminded us again about the Leeton Hosted District Conference 5th & 6th May.

New Generations looking for 3 spots to be filled with students for the Sydney IT Expo.

Via Foundation a request from Temora Can Assist for a trailer load of Moo Poo as a prize in the Rainbow Ball auction. Hearterly approved.

Meeting 2464 – 16th April, 2018

17 of the 22 members attended tonight along with 8 guests to listen to the program of speaker Barry Wilson talk about the life changing surgery the Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children provides.

Prior to that Tony Sinclair won the Scratchy and Catherine Thompson secured the door prize and Michael Regan the White as he had done last week.The was a box of chocolates that returning Rotarian Lisa Love got but she declined and Stephen Cooke picked them up.

None of the Directors had anything much to say apart from Rotary Foundation reporting on the Moo Poo last Saturday, 50 6×4 Trailer loads and 30 bags were delivered, collected. A Major movement!!!!! (pardon the pun)

Tonight saw the general meeting start late due to a lengthy Board Meeting.

14 of the Clubs 22 members attended.

President Rob won the weekly scratchy ticket.

Nigel Judd secured the red door prize and Michael Regan the white.

Club Administration reminded us of the Leeton hosted District Conference, 5th & 6th of May.

Publicity requested approval for our local paper to use content from our social media account and this was given.

New Generations is seeking applicants from the High School, St Anne’s and Ariah Park Central for the yearly IT Expo in Sydney.

Vocational Service is humming along nicely with all preparations nearly complete for the Pride in Workmanship awards on the 23rd.

15th May a Tuesday, we travel to Coolamon Sport and Recreation Club to join with other clubs to listen to Rotary International Director Noel Trevaskis.
