The Rotary Club of Temora received $2659.00 in donations from the larger community and a cheques is being drawn for $3000.00 that will be presented to the Rotary Club of Sydney.

100% of the fundraising is forwarded

The Club and Members paid for any advertising or promotional material.

The sweet smell of cow manure was wafting across the district this weekend with Team Rotary running our annual Moo Poo fundraiser.Bags and trailers full of good stuff for the garden were collected from the Teal Street Council depot, and trailer loads were delivered across town.A big thank you to the Jindalee Feedlot at Springdale and Andrew Sinclair for once again donating and transporting the quality manure. Equal thanks to Temora Shire Council for allowing us to use the depot and providing staff time, particularly Rob Fisher, for his coordination and Liam, our super-efficient loader driver.Thank you to everyone who supported us. Monday night, we had the pleasure of awarding the 2025 Rotary Excellence in Workmanship award to deserving recipients: Karly Swanston, Karen Brown, Lisa Cameron, Danielle Smith, and Aaron Flakelar.Karly Swanston, Guardhouse Café Coordinator at the Temora Aviation Museum, was nominated by Nisha Reid and described as a ray of sunshine to both customers and staff and someone who always has a smile to share and a can-do attitude.Karen Brown, Team Member from Woolworths, was nominated by Janice Taylor, who said Karen is always friendly and effective at the checkout and that her attention to detail and excellence in customer service are to be admired.Lisa Cameron, another Woolworths Team Member, was nominated by Olga Hetherington, who wanted to acknowledge Lisa after she promptly ran after Olga to return $200 she had left behind at the checkout last year.Danielle Smith, Manager at the Temora Hotel, was nominated by Alanna Crutchly, who described Danielle as selfless in all that she does and an excellent manager who treats everyone fairly.Aaron Flakelar, Harvey Norman’s local Tech Guru, was nominated by Shirley Clay, who, after purchasing a new computer 12 months ago, has been thankful and impressed by Aaron’s patience and expertise when she has visited the store many times since for technology advice.Congratulations to all the recipients, and thank you to all the nominators for taking the time to nominate these worthy community members. ...
